Canon Offers Photography Classes

Canon, one of the worlds leading camera technology developers, is offering photography classes and workshops in universities found across the United Arab Emirates as a part of their ICDL Summer Camps. This summer class is organized by ICDL GCC Foundation, a governing institute and the International Computer Driving License program (ICDL) certification authority of Iraq and the GCC States. These classes are a great way for aspiring photographers and people who are interested in photography to learn different concepts of the art. Photography has become a very popular hobby since many high powered cameras such as the DSLRs offered by canon became more affordable and easy to use.

Canon has conducted their photography classes and workshops at Al Ain HCT Womens College, the Abu Dhabi Women and Men Colleges, Abu Dhabi University Mens and Womens Campuses, UAE University and Sharjah University. Canon had also further revealed plans to hold similar classes and workshops on September at New Horizons Doha in Qatar, ADATI in Oman and Kuwait University in Kuwait. Canons photography training sessions covers the basics concepts of photography. This includes better capture, composition and printing. Basic photography can be learned without attending classes, however, students who are self taught usually have questions about the techniques and concepts of photography. These classes offer a lecturer that can help answer any question about photography.

Canon Middle East Managing Director, Anurag Agrawal says that the Canon workshops have gathered a lot of support from the students. There is a growing number of university students who are interested in photography and they would like to take this opportunity to learn more about the subject. Because of the success that the seminars and workshop has gained here in the UAE, we are now planning to organize similar seminars and workshops for schools in the other countries in GCC where photography has also become popular. This program is already in its second year and has already helped newbie photographers take better pictures.

ICDL GCC Foundation Director General Jamil Ezzo says that for its second year, Canons seminars and photography classes have been instrumental is supporting the ICDL Summer Camp. The company not only provides valuable gifts like gadgets to the camps achieving students and participants but also in taking part of the whole program and adding fun twists and surprises to the summer camp. The students are having a lot of fun with their photography programs and from learning digital photography.
